The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad is designed for the GLOCK 43. This TTI base pad adds 2 extra rounds to the magazine. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning of your magazine. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

I bought the plus 2 and plus 3. The plus two is about the length of the factory glock magazine with the pinky extension. High quality replacement pads. Only complaint is trying to get the last round into them, can be stiff.
I have many guns, but favor pistols. My EDC is a Glock 43 with trigger and sight upgrades. I had originally purchased 2 +1 magazine extensions in black. I noticed the quality was unmatched and everything worked perfectly. The rounds never miss-fed and they look great. But in the spirit that "more is more", I recently order a +2 in red and a +3 in blue. I had a problem deciding between the colors, so I bought the red for the carry and the blue as the backup mag. I really like having my pinky on the magazine for added control. And the different colors is a cool feature too. Again the quality is great. The look is amazing compared to other mag extensions I have seen out there. And now I have 18 rounds on hand in case all heck breaks loose. Thanks.
