The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad is designed for the GLOCK 43. This TTI base pad adds 2 extra rounds to the magazine. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning of your magazine. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

easy to install, works great, gives a better grip without excessive material
The quality of the base plate is high. Fit and finish is excellent. Standard black finish looks like factory equipment on a standard G43. Installation is easy. Pros: 1. Adds a round. 2. Slightly extends grip length just a tad over the factory flush plate but less than factory extended plate (and less than other 7+1 handguns on the market). 3. For my average hand, this allows for pinky to get some purchase at the front of the grip but critically, allows pinky finger tip to reach the base plate and hold firmly. 4. Allows for more of a full grip on draw stroke. 5. Does NOT extend grip to a ridiculous length defeating the purpose of a sub-compact gun. I have run about 250 rounds through it with no malfunctions. Pleased all the way around.
