Great product. Easy to install, works flawlessly, looks cool and adds a lot of grip to the G43. I would highly recommend it.
WILL NOT WORK ON THE 43X or 48! Here is a link to the 43X and 48 basepads for the Shields Magazines, https://tarantacticalinnovations.com/glock-48-and-43x-basepad-for-shield-arms-magazine/?ctk=c4c11537-a0c8-41b5-a4b6-9f27f1a564fe&showHidden=true
The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad is designed for the GLOCK 43. This TTI base pad adds 2 extra rounds to the magazine. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning of your magazine. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

Great product. Easy to install, works flawlessly, looks cool and adds a lot of grip to the G43. I would highly recommend it.
I am not a big fan of adding or changing things on my carry guns. I saw the plus 2 extension on another persons Glock, so I went out on a limb and ordered two of the Plus three extensions. I installed them with no problems on two of my Glock 43 Mags, and took them to the range. I had a problem loading one of the mags to capacity so I took it apart and redid everything and had no problems loading (it is a little stiff, but loosens up after about 100-150 rounds. I shot about 100 rounds through each mag. I had no problems, I let the mags drop free with no hangups (the mags did seem to leave the mag well faster, maybe due to extra weight). I feel confident that these will perform just fine if needed. the only thing I do not like is that disassembly is tough since the spring is in the way. I want to try them on an ETS 7 rd mag.
The G43 base pad came with a replacement spring and was easy to put on. I purchased the +2 and was close to the length of the pinky extension, maybe a tiny bit little longer. Not enough to print through the shirt, which is what I was going for. The +2 turned my magazine capacity from 6+1 to 8+1. The flat black is a good color. The base pads look great! The prices on the base pads are expensive but I don't think that should effect the rating on the product which is well engineered. Plus the base pads are aluminum, not plastic. If you don't like the price, then there are cheaper ones out there. Two thumbs up from me. Shipping was normal. It took exactly 7 days for the base pads to arrive.
