The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad is designed for the GLOCK 43. This TTI base pad adds 2 extra rounds to the magazine. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning of your magazine. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

With the +2 being the same size about as the factory pinky extension, why not add 2 additional rounds. Very durable, and rather nice looking. The pin on the back offers added peace of mind to staying in place. Should you put one on every magazine? Maybe not, but it’s definitely worth at least putting on your back up. I opted for all three of mine.
If you are looking for the best magazine extension for your Glock 43, look no further. Excellent fit, finish, functionality & reliability, Barely any larger than the factory flush base pad with just enough room for a full grip while maintaining concealibility. I prefer this as my main carry magazine (7+1 in the chamber) and a +2 as a backup (8+1 in the chamber). Sweet setup for EDC, another great product from TTI.
I bought two of these for my "Noisy Cricket" recently. They fit perfectly and function as well as the factory base plates. And they look awesome! I highly recommend adding these to your EDC. For the looks and most of all the extra piece of mind that comes with extra lead. Keep up the great work Taran! And feel free to make them for my xds as well.
