WILL NOT WORK ON THE 43X or 48! Here is a link to the 43X and 48 basepads for the Shields Magazines, https://tarantacticalinnovations.com/glock-48-and-43x-basepad-for-shield-arms-magazine/?ctk=c4c11537-a0c8-41b5-a4b6-9f27f1a564fe&showHidden=true

The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. • Great for the Glock 43

The Taran Tactical grip/magazine extension +2 for the Glock 43 is a great addition to the handgun. It provides better grip and control than the Glock extension. Plus it provides the obvious benefit of 2 extra rounds in the magazine. it installs easily and if done correctly, the magazine feeds and locks back on an empty chamber without fail. I now have them on all my Glock 43 magazines.

Excellent products. Makes my 43 much easier to control adds 2 rounds and still very concealable.

I ordered two basepads for my G43; one in red and one in grey. I got the basepads in the mail within the same week which is a huge plus in my book. -If you haven't removed a basepad before, I HIGHLY recommend hitting up YouTube for some how-to before you go prying. I was able to remove the stock basepads from the two stock mags and get the Taran basepads on smoothly. They fit perfectly and look great. There has been no issues cycling rounds through at all. There are a few other companies that offer such products but after having them in my hands I can strongly say that Taran basepads look and feel more high-quality. The Taran +2 is similar size to most of the +1 extensions and that alone should be saying something. I'll definitely be purchasing more!
