The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad is designed for the GLOCK 43. This TTI base pad adds 2 extra rounds to the magazine. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning of your magazine. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

I've put these and some other competition base pads that will not be named through the ringer. One of the other units didn't even fit the plus 2 that was advertised. THESE DID. Fit and finish on these blows the others out of the water, except one that cost 1/3 more. The springs were a little cruchy at first, but have no fear; they break in and seem to keep proper tensioin.
This is exceptional base pad, quality that you won't find with others. I own many glocks and have bought many brands. I love the reliability of +1 and +3 for my g43. Runs everything I have put through it.
This product met or exceeded my expectations for installation or build quality. I would appreciate two items to take this to a 5 star review. (1) either include the installation instructions in the shipping package or include a card referring to the Taran Tactical web for this same information and (2) resolve the manufacturing issues with the magazine replacement spring. Mine cause the follower to jam after insertion of the 8th round. Taran readily acknowledge this to be a random issue that could be resolved with a replacement spring. They promptly arranged to ship two such springs to me at no additional cost. This was excellent problem resolution but would like to see the underlying issue corrected so such resolution and the steps (frustration, followup call, followup shipping) would not have to occur
