The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad is designed for the GLOCK 43. This TTI base pad adds 2 extra rounds to the magazine. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning of your magazine. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

I purchased my G43 with the knowledge that extended base pads would be necessary for capacity and for comfort. After researching the available options, I ordered a +2 and a +3 extension. Installation was very simple thanks to the Taran Tactical YouTube channel. They require an extra little push to seat properly, but they feed just fine (100+ rounds through each no malfunctions thus far). Very pleased with my purchase. I find the +2 extension to be just as concealable as the factory flush base pad.
Purchased the +1& +2. Put 100 rounds thru each and both performed perfectly. No Failures to feed or eject and I made it a point to try to get a failure , even limp gripped a few shots and did rapid fire several times. I got the red base plates to go with the black & red pyramid trigger and red mag release I installed. Looks sharp and the bases are quality. I use the +1 for my conceal carry as it does hide better than the +2 which I use at the range. Recommend theses products.
