Not much to be said. These are the best base plates you could possibly buy for a glock.

The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad is designed for the GLOCK 43. This TTI base pad adds 2 extra rounds to the magazine. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning of your magazine. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

Purchased 3, plus 2 base pads, 1 plus 2 mag and 1 plus 3 mag. One trick I used for factory base plate removal. I have some Quick grip clamps I got at Home Depot. Sliped off the the rubber pads (a must) and clamped down just below the base pad to compress mag slightly. Then used center punch to depress plunger button and start factory plate off. The very small model of clamp however did not apply sufficient force so choose a mid size clamp. Great for other home projects around the house too. Back to these super mag extensions. The plus 2 end perfectly flush at the base of my grip and the plus 3 extend only 1/8th of an inch beyond. The extra weight allows the mag to drop free for faster reloads too. Bottom line, the best and glad I went with Taran Tactical from the start. Extremely happy with product.
