The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad is designed for the GLOCK 43. This TTI base pad adds 2 extra rounds to the magazine. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning of your magazine. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

I got a Taran Tactical Base Pad for my Glock 42 two years ago. So, while refinishing it along with my G43 & G19, I did all slides and the metal Taran pads in Titanium Cerakote for a matched set. I have mag extensions for range use, but Patriot Brown grips with these base pads give the set a much more professional carry look

I ordered two +2 G43 extensions and so far they have worked great. It allows me to have 2 extra rounds and have a great grip as well. The additional spring seems to feed well and has avoided any malfunctions so far. The only complaint I have is about the color I got. I ordered the OD green and you can barely tell its green. I was expecting a military green and this is a green so dark you can barely notice the difference between the black polymer frame and the mag extension. I was hoping for something that would have a nice contrast but was disappointed when I opened them and saw that they didn't. Other than that it's a great product.
