WILL NOT WORK ON THE 43X or 48! Here is a link to the 43X and 48 basepads for the Shields Magazines, https://tarantacticalinnovations.com/glock-48-and-43x-basepad-for-shield-arms-magazine/?ctk=c4c11537-a0c8-41b5-a4b6-9f27f1a564fe&showHidden=true

The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. I heard good things about the Taran Tactical products. So when I recently acquired a Glock 43, it was one of the first upgrades I purchased...the +2. Mag cap is a concern in the 43 so this is a must. I feel that I can still cc this handgun with the +2. The +3 would be a good backup but may stretch the concealment factor thin. There are other cheaper plastic products out there, but it's worth having a nice aesthetic piece of metal. The last round is tight even with not using the plastic OE base tab, but it squeezes in. The color combos add a nice touch if that's your thing. If I get more mags, TT is probably going on the bottom of them too.

  • +1 x4 and they are perfect

I really like these plus one extensions they look good and do exactly what they say they will. Plus I'm completely ok with 7+1 in the glock 43. I have a couple of the gray ones and a purple one that is nice. The green is kind of hard tell its actually green unless its up against something else green.

I bought this +2 extension mainly because my wife wanted more handle for more control. It took all of 2 minutes to switch out the spring and base on the stock magaizine and it feels great.
