The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad is designed for the GLOCK 43. This TTI base pad adds 2 extra rounds to the magazine. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning of your magazine. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

Just bought two of the +2 baseplates for my Glock 43. Love the gun but 6 just is not enough. Taran Tacticals new base plates give you an extra two shots. Product work awesome and goes on with no problems. Gives you a little extra to help with that pinky finger staying in place. This is a must have for Glock owners
I bought the +1 base pads for my G43. I've run about 400 rounds of cheap range rounds using them and have not experienced any malfunctions. That little extra space they provide allows me to get my pinky on the grip, which makes the G43 feel like a larger size handgun. I initially encountered some frustration because the retention pins were sliding up and down too freely, and Taran Tactical does not include an allen key to adjust the tension. I also had a hard time figuring out the exact size allen key I needed to adjust the tension myself. It appears they have now published this information on their website (1/16"), so I give them points for that. It would be nice if they included a tool the same way Ikea does, but aside from that Taran Tactical has really done everything right. Highly recommended! TTI Rep: The Allen key is there for US when we are building the base pad. Tampering with the set screw will void your warranty. If you have any issue with the retaining pin we will get you up and running just call the shop.
I ordered a plus one and plus 2 for my g43 shipping was fast and installing them was brainless. I have not tried these yet but will be this weekend and I'm sure there will be no issues. Fit and finish is perfect. Definitely high quality products. I love that t.t provided a spring with the plus two plate. I did notice the provided spring was a little stiff at first and was kind of hard to insert the mag but after a few days of the mag sitting loaded it already seems to be breaking in. I would definitely recommend this product. Will be buying more soon
