The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad is designed for the GLOCK 43. This TTI base pad adds 2 extra rounds to the magazine. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning of your magazine. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

These mag extensions are great. Make sure you watch the installation video by taran tactical on YouTube. They show you a little trick to properly seat the mag spring that works really well. It was really tough getting that last round in but once I seated the spring, it works flawlessly.

I have two +2 mags that I every day carry and two +2 mags that I train with. I have dropped my range mags hundreds of times on gravel while practicing reloads and they don't even have a scratch. The two that I every day carry, one is in the weapon (right from pocket) and the other is in my left front pocket bumping against my keys and phone all day. Neither show wear from riding around in my pockets. I have been carrying them for well over 6 months and they are flawless. I have yet to have a jam in either my daily carry or range mags with the extensions. I recently ordered the +1 for waistband carry while wearing a suit, I'm eager to put a few hundred rounds through it to test for reliability. I will be ordering the +3 soon as a backup while wearing a suit.
