The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad is designed for the GLOCK 43. This TTI base pad adds 2 extra rounds to the magazine. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning of your magazine. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

I ordered 3 Glock 43 +2 Base Pads and they are working great so far! The Base Pads are high quality, look awesome and are very functional! They were easy to install, but as Murphy's Law would have it I needed a replacement retaining screw. I contacted Taran Tactical and they were quick to send me replacement screws. This company understands customer service and I would recommend Taran Tactical to anyone!
I bought one after seeing a video on YouTube and can truly say it's a fantastic product. I followed the advice of another reviewer and used a small clamp at the base, by the tabs, to apply slight pressure and the old base slid right off. Perfect pressure and continues to feed flawlessly after 300+ rounds. Bought a +1 extension and I see a couple +2 in the future. Definitely recommend.
I purchased this, not entirely for the magazine size increase -- but to give my pinky a place to call home. It's the PERFECT size, as the bottom edge of my pinky is flush with the bottom edge of the extension. Looks great too. Only con - with the included spring, the last round is quite difficult to get set. I will only use this as a 7+1 magazine.
