The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad is designed for the GLOCK 43. This TTI base pad adds 2 extra rounds to the magazine. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning of your magazine. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

I purchased the +1, +2, and +3 to make my Glock 43 as versatile as possible while not sacrificing reliability. All of the aforementioned Taran Tactical magazines function flawlessly. I highly recommend them, you won’t regret your purchase!
The +1 is perfect to add a round without extending the silhouette of the gun. The + 2 is nice for a back up mag. The last round is tight and extra force is required when inserting the magazine but honestly most of my OEM mags are the same when full jammed. Closes the gap if you’re a Glock guy but started eyeing the p365.
First of all I was blown away when the baseplate showed up at my house 3 days after I ordered it. Besides that, the quality is 11/10 and went beyond my expectations. The red color is very nice and looks great in the gun. I will be recommending Taran to anyone and everyone. I can’t wait to order more!
