The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad is designed for the GLOCK 43. This TTI base pad adds 2 extra rounds to the magazine. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning of your magazine. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

I have been skeptical of magazine extensions since I’ve been shooting (about 40 plus years). I own a Glock 43 and I felt that it would be nice to have the option of more rounds in the mag. I researched different options of after market mags and extensions and decided to try these (plus 2 extension). I took it to the range last weekend and shot mag after mag, with no failures or problems whatsoever. I am convinced this works and I’m happy that I purchased it.
Bought the +2 when I purchased the gun to go on the stock flush mount mag. I liked it so much I replaced the stock extended mag with a +1 base pad and bought a +1 complete mag as well. Easy to install, quality product. Barely adds any length to the grip and gives you an extra round. It also makes the empty mag drop easier.
I bought the ( Black ) ( +1 ) Completed Magazine. Ok so...Personally I don’t like aftermarket magazines because I don’t trust them. So the fact you can order any mag extension pre installed On an OEM Glock Magizine is huge for me!... I was also worried about the regular (black) being too shiny for my All Black Glock 43 and it actually complements the gun very well... I Definitely Recommend this product and I will also be purchasing the +2 and +3 . Keep up the great work!!!
