The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad is designed for the GLOCK 43. This TTI base pad adds 2 extra rounds to the magazine. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning of your magazine. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

This is awesome Bit tricky getting original base plate off Glock Use some kind of clamp, c clamp etc, apply some not a lot of pressure to end of magazine, then place a metal Allen wrench, screwdriver etc into bottom of base plate of base plate, the whole at bottom, you will see it, push down on shaft of Allen wrench screwdriver till base pad comes loose, then slide off, slide new taran base pad on, first push pin on taran pad out of way so it’s protruding from the bottom and out of way of internal magazine, once on push pin in, no need to tighten
I have both the blue and titanium purple and the fit and finish on both of them is amazing! I plan on ordering more for my Glock 17 as well! I’d recommend them to anyone.
