The only extension I can get to work with a Glock 21 in a MCK kit
I have tried numerous magazines (other than the Glock 21 13 round stock) with no success with a Glock 21 in a MCK kit. The Taran Tactical 4 round extension does so thank you.
*Will not work with 10mm ammo. Our extensions are designed to work specifically with their intended magazine, the slightest off-angle may cause failure to feed or other malfunctions.*
GLOCK .45 +4
*Not for sale to California residents. A courtesy email will be sent to CA residents who place an order for product that has the capability of taking a magazine past ten rounds. Ultimately a refund will be issued. CA residents can only buy +0 base pads or GLOCK 43 and GLOCK 42 base pads. The 43 and 42 base pads do not take the mag capacity past ten rounds.
The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.
*Remove the metal insert at the bottom before installation*
*Will not function with early generation Glock mags that have u-notch cut feed lips.*
*WILL NOT WORK WITH 10 ROUND MAGAZINES!*
This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad works on GLOCK models 21/41. This TTI base pad will add 4 extra rounds of .45 ACP to the magazine. This base pad does adds a little extra weight to the magazine which helps the empty mag drop free easier for faster reloads. This TTI GLOCK base pad, just like all of our base pads, is designed to give you the edge over your adversaries. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning your magazines between stages. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock the base pad onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

So the only concern preventing this from a full 5stars is installation. I know it might seem like user-error, but it would help if TT included a brief paper inside packaging on installation or a video on their YouTube channel. I've done other baseplate replacements and thought I was prepared, but I didn't think about how the alloy will chew into the plastic of the OEM mags. Definitely want to take caution with the install so that you don't inadvertently chew off the rails along the bottom of the mag. Again though - that's my only concern. Spring is very tight and will take some breaking in (it's all I can do to get in the standard 13rds).
High quality product. Fits my gen 2 Glock 21 mags. The Olive drab is off the color doesn’t match any other Olive Drab I have. This is a common problem in this industry especially when anodizing aluminum. Also, I was able to scratch the anodizing with a plastic screwdriver handle. The color needs to be significantly darker to be even close. The pin that keeps the mag from sliding off the base does not work with my aftermarket mag wells. I have two one from Zev and one from Lone Wolf. Pin hits the mag well in the back near the Mag well mounting tab that secures the mag well to the pistol. I like the weight, mags drop easily and the additional 4 rounds fit nicely. I can grind out a track for the pin so the mags seat correctly but if you have an aftermarket mag well, know if you use this product you will likely have to “modify” your mag well.
