Base pad for PMAG
Installing them was easy enough, even given they were a bit stiff to slide over my mags. Once on though they are solid, no wiggle or movement of any kind.
Not for sale to California or Washington residents. A courtesy email will be sent to CA/WA residents who place an order for a base pad that has the capability of taking a magazine past ten rounds. Ultimately a refund will be issued. CA/WA residents can only purchase base pads that do not take the magazine capacity past ten rounds.
The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.
*Remove the metal insert at the bottom before installation*
*Will only work on Gen 3 PMAG Magazines*
PMAG Base Pad For AR .223
TTI Firepower PMAG Magazine Extension:
This Taran Tactical Innovations .223 PMAG base pad works on any .223 30 or 40 round PMAG magazine. This TTI base pad will add 5 extra rounds to a PMAG 30 round magazine and extra 6 rounds in a 40 round PMAG magazine. This TTI base pad does add a little extra weight to the magazine which helps the empty mag drop free easier for faster reloads. This TTI .223 PMAG base pad, just like all of our base pads, is designed to give you the edge over your adversaries. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning your magazines between stages. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock the base pad onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

Really good piece of kit for competition or military/law enforcement. Everything is driven by capacity and having that capacity ready to go kicks ass. For 3 gun competitions I would use the pmag 40 rounder in my belt, when running to different shooting positions the pmag 40would bounce around. Now I use a 30 rounder with the base pad and no more bounce when running and gunning. When you do a recon of the stage I can tailor my equipment that would best execute the stage and having the extra capacity cuts down magazine chanage.
My favorite brand. Can’t say enough good about them. I have many of them with no problems.
