Product Description

The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

  1. What is your life worth?

Posted by mike on Sep 12th 2019

What is the life of a loved one or you for that matter worth?

Don't be "that person" pinching pennies and buying a sub-standard + base pad so you feel "tacticool" at the neighborhood dinner party.

Save your money and buy a proven life protecting device that delivers 100% reliability - day in day out, shot after shot.

God forbid the time ever comes - that $10 - $20 more you spent on a TT + base pad will allow you to sleep in your bed another day instead of lying in a morgue.

When behavior modification is your only course of action, the Taran Tactical + extension base pad is your only choice!

Daily Concealed Carry Glock 43 with TT +3 base pad user.

  2. Nice fit and finish

Posted by Jeremy on Sep 5th 2019

Good product, shipped the same day and received within 2 days.

  3. TT vs Hyve

Posted by Courey on Aug 28th 2019

I bought a +2 base plate for my Glock 43 from Hyve and a +3 from Taran Tactical. I wish I had just bought both from here. The Hyve +2 weighs more than the +3 from TT. Hyve makes you cut off pieces of your magazine so this base plate will fit, so the magazine is completely useless if I ever decide to take it off. The TT base plate slides right on and is held by a small rod in the back of the magazine. I would choose Taran Tactical base plates 10/10 times over anything else.

  4. Best base pads out there for your magazines

Posted by Unknown on Aug 26th 2019

Great base pads for the Glock 43, adds 1 extra round and for my hand size gives me a full grip.

  5. Love it

Love it. Do recommend and would buy again.

  6. Better than expected!

Posted by Ryan on Aug 20th 2019

These are a great fit and you can tell a difference in the springs. Look fabulous and function great. Worth the extra money. Trashed the Vickers +2s that only held +1. If you are looking don’t hesitate to spend the extra cash. Well worth the money

  7. Plus 3 for XL hands

Posted by JH on Aug 12th 2019

Very happy with the extension. Well made and easy on off.
I used the TTI pad to move the factory pad past the catch, appr 3/16, then install was no problem. Took about 3-4 min.

  8. Maybe

Posted by Unknown on Aug 7th 2019

Plus three attachment and spring are well made and theoretically fit the Glock 43 oem magazine. However, trying to compress the replacement spring and attach the base is a major battle. I got the springs replaced and bases attached but the magazines would only hold 6 to 7 rounds before blocking any further rounds being inserted. The spring seems to bind up when it is compressed and that binding causes the blockage. Maybe there is some kind of trick to compressing the spring but I have yet to figure it out.

TTI Rep: The bottom coil on the spring is not seated properly in the bottom of the basepad. You will want to slide the basepad off half way. Just enough to look into the basepad. You will most likely see the bottom coil of the spring standing on end and not flush to the bottom of the magazine. Just take a small screwdriver, hook the bottom coil and either push or pull it to get the spring to sit flat. Once the spring is sitting flat, slide back on the basepad and then try loading up. You should be good to go. LT
