S&m Shield. 40

A friend of mine asked me to find him a mag extension for his .40 S&M Shield. I bought him this one from Taran Tactical and it works without any issues and the quality and craftsmanship is great. It takes about 2 minutes to install if you take your time and clean out the old magazine a little.... I only wish they had a +2 for the .40 cal. Comes in handy at the range.

These bumpers offer a smooth transition between the grip and the bumper.
The only issue I have encountered is that they do not work well on the 7 round mag. The mag will not go up into the mag well far enough to engage.

Fit and finish ate great. You’d REALLY have to shove to get 2 extra rounds and have 1 in the chamber. The color very closely matched my Apex trigger so that was a nice touch. Only a small gap between the pistol and the baseplate and it installed rock solid in 15 seconds.
Excellent Build Quality

I ordered two 2rd extensions and they came fast and are AWESOME. I have ordered some from another company and I was happy until I got these. They are just step above the others. They look great, go on with ease, and feel rock solid. If you are on the fence, grab a pair and order! You won't regret it
Best Base Pads

These are the best quality base pads I’ve bought. I have them on both my M&P shield and my M&P9 great quality and fit. The coating they use is strong and looks good. I will definitely be buying plenty more of these in the future. Thanks Taran Tactical. Check out my photos on IG @Highdesert_tactical1911

Base pads were very easy to install. They have been incredibly reliable and the extra length makes the shield even more controllable.
Very very happy

Iv had hyve products on my old Shield and compared to the red base pad I bought from Taran I’ll definitely stick with Taran Tactical, the color is better I love the finish and there absolutely no space between the base pad and the mag well fits like it should the hyve would pinch my pinky when I would shoot. You guys are awesome and the delivery time was OUTSTANDING!! Thanks
