This base pad will add 2 extra rounds in 9mm, and 1 extra round in .40 Caliber to the magazine.

This Taran Tactical Innovations M&P Shield base pad works on any full sized M&P Shield 9mm and 40 S&W handguns. This TTI base pad does add a little extra weight to the magazine which helps the empty mag drop free easier for faster reloads. This TTI M&P base pad, just like all of our base pads, is designed to give you the edge over your adversaries. The base pad is machined out of aircraft aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

Great product and a great way to extend your magazines hoping they come out with one for a canik tp9 soon
I received the subject product and installed that afternoon. It was a very easy process and they look great. Just returned from the range to test them and they function perfectly. The added grip area makes the Shield a better weapon. I always felt a little uneasy about my EDC limited to 8+1, but now feel more confident with the added capacity. Thank you Taran Tactical for a great product.
