Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. The product is great, has a unique retention design, this makes it fits mag well with plenty of clearance. But the service was not good. I had to wait a month and a half for delivery. I’ve sent two emails with no replies, I finally was able to reach them by phone, and was told the items were on back order.
So I love the color and the shipping time however , the base plate doesn’t fit on the sig 17 round mags from my axg 365 legion. The pin is just barely blocked. Maybe it’s me, but two base plates purchased and tried on four mags. All the same issues. I’ll just go find another mag and make it work. Still love the product though.
Very tight fit and doesn't seem to be an issue with the two different magwells I use. Overall really like the style, fit, and springs - coating seems a little less durable than others, but I'm not easy on any of my gear (dropping onto rocks/sand/gravel/tables) and it adds a worn look which I like!
