This base plate is An easy install , just a few seconds and your magazine will look better than ever. And do I have to say you get more shots! Highly recommend, it also gives a little extra but not to much for your pinky to hold on to.
The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.>

This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad is designed for the GLOCK 42. It adds 1 extra round to the magazine and is only a 8th of an inch longer than the stock base pad. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning of your magazine. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

Add 1 to capacity with minimal extended length to grip length. Looks good too.
I bought this for my sister's birthday. She owns a Glock 42 and only has one magazine. She has mentioned to me before that she would have preferred a bit more capacity and a slightly longer grip for when she goes to shoot with it, so I went ahead and purchased this and had it shipped to her. I mentioned it was for my sister's birthday present and they contacted me to get her details so they could include a card in the box. They also wrote Happy Birthday on the outside of the box.
