The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.>

This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad is designed for the GLOCK 42. It adds 1 extra round to the magazine and is only a 8th of an inch longer than the stock base pad. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning of your magazine. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

I have three Glocks 26, 42 & 43. I was always looking to add that couple extra rounds to the 42 & 43 which come stock holding 6 rounds. I tried the Pearce and then the T.T. Hands down the T.T. is the best. Comes with extra strong spring and just quality of the build is awesome. Definitely would recommend.
I bought both the +1 and +2 base plates for my Glock 42. I was impressed with the quality of the baseplates and I expect they will serve me well for years to come. I carry using the Desantis Super Fly pocket holster. The +1 baseplate added no discernible difference to my carrying. The +2 baseplate makes a slight difference, but not much. I bought the titanium grey +2 extender for the glock 42. The shipping only took a couple of days to get it, which is nice if you are impatient like I am. The Install was pretty straight forward and I have had no problems with how the gun functions. I plan on putting these on my g34 mags also.
