Excellent fit and finish.Both 1&2 round extensions function perfectly so far.100 rounds thru each without hitch.Trust them for self defense.They are pricy but you get aluminum not plastic.Should last as long as the gun.

The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad is designed for the GLOCK 43. This TTI base pad adds 2 extra rounds to the magazine. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning of your magazine. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

The only difficulty with installation was dealing with the existing glock magazine. When the time came to install the parts from Taran Tactical, it was quite a breeze. It is quite difficult to load the 9th round into the magazine now, but it's still possible. So the only concern I have is how tough and tight things get with that 9th round. Ultimately, I'm very happy with my purchase, and I'd surely do it again.
I purchased a +1 and +2 for the G43. the + 2 basepad is great, fits perfect and not super tight when loaded full. the +1 when loaded is very tight and sometimes hard to seat in the gun, It would be nice if there was a little more room in the +1.
