WILL NOT WORK ON THE 43X or 48! Here is a link to the 43X and 48 basepads for the Shields Magazines, https://tarantacticalinnovations.com/glock-48-and-43x-basepad-for-shield-arms-magazine/?ctk=c4c11537-a0c8-41b5-a4b6-9f27f1a564fe&showHidden=true

The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. • Must have have for the 43

Just put on the +2 base pad for my 43. What a difference. The extra grip provided by the magazine really helps with control of the 43. And now I have two extra rounds. 8+1 makes the 43 that much better. Very high quality base pad. Heads/tails better then the Pearce plastic extension. Will be buying more.

Workmanship and quality are wonderful! You can keep your grip plug, if you bore a small hole in it right where that pin will fit. For what it's worth :-)

  • Issue with the +3

When I bought the +2 and +3 extensions for my 43 I was happy with the fit and over all look of the extensions. The +2 extension installed great. When I put the +3 extension on the magazine would only except 7 rounds with the +3 spring. After checking to see if I did something wrong and reinstalling the +3 extension and spring, I finally had to use a +2 spring to allow the full 9 rounds to be excepted into the magazine. After installing the extension and testing them, they both worked flawlessly and I was very happy with the extensions.
