WILL NOT WORK ON THE 43X or 48! Here is a link to the 43X and 48 basepads for the Shields Magazines, https://tarantacticalinnovations.com/glock-48-and-43x-basepad-for-shield-arms-magazine/?ctk=c4c11537-a0c8-41b5-a4b6-9f27f1a564fe&showHidden=true

The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. Great product, quality machine work. Factory mag is a little tricky to squeeze, in order to get the factory base plate off, but once you do, its a breeze. Just a suggestion, maybe include an instruction sheet, or at least a note telling people not to jack with that set screw... Just on looking at the product, one would assume that you slide the retention pin up, and cinch the set screw down to hold it in place... That's apparently not the case upon calling your customer service.

Very please with the quality of the materials. Installation was kind of pain and took a couple tries to get them set correctly so I could fully load the magazine. Have not shot any rounds through them yet but hand cycling seemed to be a little sticky so I hope there isn't any jamming issues. 1st round seem to want to get hung up. No instruction we provided so had to review youtube video to see how to put them together. I'd also recommend providing some dimensional information on the purchase page to see how much additional length it adds to the magazine for each extension. I rolled the dice and am pleased my choice but was sweating spending $40 a piece not knowing.

  • TTI+1 & (TTI+2 with TTI spring) 100% reliable

I purchased a +1 basepad and a +2 with completed mag (TTI updated power spring) and both were 100% reliable on my glock 43. Both are on 01 marked magazines. 300 rounds of 115gr ball and 100 rd of winchester ranger T hollow points 147 gr. No jams. I also tried a magguts +1 spring kit in a glock 43 magazine (not in conjunction with TTI baseplates) but expirenced 1 FTF on the last round once in aprox 33 rds of 147 gr ranger T. No jams with magguts with 115gr ball ammo. So the TTI product is superior. PS the magguts makes the mag lighter and causes some issues with mag not being able to drop free. TTI ALWAYS DROPS FREE AND NO JAMS. Best product on the market
