The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad is designed for the GLOCK 43. This TTI base pad adds 2 extra rounds to the magazine. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning of your magazine. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

Nice solid piece. Fit/finish was great. Put one of the +1's on the main mag for my 43. Adds hardly any size to the gun and still conceals as well as stock. I have 200 rounds through it so far with no issues. A little hint for those having issues removing/installing the base pads: get a small clamp to put pressure on the sides of the mag, just a little you don't want to damage them, and the base pads will slide right on/off.
I have been on the fence on switching from carrying my Glock 26 to a single stack 9mm. for when wearing suits and dress slacks at work. I was not crazy about the 43 capacity with standard factory magazine and was concerned about using a magazine extension affecting reliability. Well the Taran +2 extension solved that. 500 rounds through my new G43 with using the the +2 extended magazines without a hiccup. Well made product with larger spring included with extension. Worth every penny.
I received my base pad to add another round to the six round magazine that came with my Glock 43. It was pretty simple to install and looked very good on my Glock. Because I had a filler plug installed in the space next to the magazine on the bottom of the grip, I had to grind down the pin a little, so I could get the magazine to lock in. It all works great so I would recommend this product.
