Great addition to my G43 carry gun
Purchased the +1 first and then decided to go with +2 for normal carry instead. Same length as the factory 6 round clip, but feels better in the hand plus the additional 2 rounds make superb!

The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations GLOCK base pad is designed for the GLOCK 43. This TTI base pad adds 2 extra rounds to the magazine. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning of your magazine. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock it onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

So, I've only put a hundred rounds through the two magazines I equipped with +1 base pads. I held off because I felt it was necessary to install some stouter springs. Fully assembled, the magazines with Ghost +15% springs were too difficult for my wife to hand cycle the slide with. No go. Reassembled with factory springs, and hit the range. No troubles through two quick boxes of ammo. Go figure, the wife likes them so much, we've ordered some +2 extensions. Back to waiting...
After getting a g43 as a warm weather daily CCW I knew that I needed more that 6+1 so I didn't HAVE to carry an extra mag if I couldn't do so (I know I should always carry one but... Oh well). Obviously TTI is some of the best in the business and they really knocked it out of the park with this one. Easy to install (if you've never taken apart an OEM mag that I would watch a video), comfortable, reliable (1000+rds w/o a malfunction), and very stylish. It also helps my index the pistol much more effectively than the stock pinky extension that come with one of the magazines. I recommend for everyone who is looking for those 2 extra rounds for daily CCW or for someone like myself who has large hands and desires a smaller pistol without having to sacrifice too much capacity.
