Ultimately a refund will be issued. CA residents can only purchase +0 base pads and GLOCK 43 and GLOCK 42 base pads. The 43 and 42 base pads do not take the mag capacity past ten rounds.
The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

When installing the TTI base pad:
The Taran Tactical Innovations CZ base pad adds 4 extra rounds to the CZ 17/18 round magazines, making the 17/18 round Mec-Gar magazines capable of holding 21 rounds in the magazine and 1 in the chamber. The TTI CZ base pad, just like all of our base pads are designed to give you the edge over your adversaries. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning between stages. Just push the down the pin, slide the base pad onto the magazine and push the pin up to lock the base pad onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

Great quality and works wonderfully. I have a SAR K12 and wanted extra mags. Couldn't find any through vendor so grabbed Mecgars CZ 9mm magazines. Rounds wouldn't cycle and slide wouldn't lock, however. Installed base pads and they run slightly smoother than stock mags.
Love the +2 base pads! They work on the Shadow 2 with or without a magwell. My only complaint is that the pin in front of the magazine, that holds the extension on, is a little too long and if you are not careful, like me, you will damage your brand new mag well. When you push the pin up to block the mag, it can only be about 1/16” above the bottom of the magazine or it will mar the magwell when you insert the magazine in the gun and the mag may not seat properly. Some of the extensions when mounted properly, to work with a mag well, will leave the mounting pin slightly below the bottom of the base pads.
