This TTI base pad does add a little extra weight to the magazine which helps the empty mag drop free easier for faster reloads. I have not had them out through a few hundred testing rounds yet, but if they are anything like the 7 other TTI extensions I have, should be flawless once given a little set time loaded up, then a few ranges sessions for good break-in! These are even easier to attach to S&W mags than Glock ones. Very impressed and will be permanent part of my carry routine once thoroughly vetted!! Thanks TTI team!
