This base pad will add 2 extra rounds in 9mm, and 1 extra round in .40 Caliber to the magazine.

This Taran Tactical Innovations M&P Shield base pad works on any full sized M&P Shield 9mm and 40 S&W handguns. This TTI base pad does add a little extra weight to the magazine which helps the empty mag drop free easier for faster reloads. This TTI M&P base pad, just like all of our base pads, is designed to give you the edge over your adversaries. The base pad is machined out of aircraft aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

Great craftsmanship on the base pad. It gives me a full grip on the Shield 9mm and the extra capacity was appreciated. Be sure to read the product description. The base pad requres the 8 round OEM magazines. I mistakenly put it on the 7 round magazine first.
great product I own 5 now and I can’t wait to order the other colors. Durable, long lasting. A lot of people said that the initial cycle of rounds would malfunction I’ve never had one type of malfunction with the las bads.
