This TTI base pad does add a little extra weight to the magazine which helps the empty mag drop free easier for faster reloads. This TTI M&P base pad, just like all of our base pads, is designed to give you the edge over your adversaries. The base pad is machined out of aircraft aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

Love the color and very well made. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because it doesn’t sit flush when the mag is installed in the gun. I tried to different 8 round mags but the same result. Wonder if I just got a bad one or if anyone else had this issue.
Saw these on Vigilance Elites youtube vid. I ordered 2 for my 8rnd mags. Nice to have 10+1. I've put 200 rnds with them. the 10th rnd is a snot to load at first but gotta break the 8 rnd spring in. I had no issues. Fed all 10 through and locked back on last round. Nice product.
