Well built addition to the S&W Shield. Not only does it feel so much better in the hand now, just that added comfort of 2 extra rounds is nice. Still conceals great. Highly recommended for Shield owners.

This Taran Tactical Innovations M&P Shield base pad works on any full sized M&P Shield 9mm and 40 S&W handguns. This TTI base pad does add a little extra weight to the magazine which helps the empty mag drop free easier for faster reloads. This TTI M&P base pad, just like all of our base pads, is designed to give you the edge over your adversaries. The base pad is machined out of aircraft aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

The extended mag for my Shield 9mm is GREAT! It has a great color and is just the right size. I also own the ProMag and it is just too large and doesn't look nearly as professionally designed. I will certainly buy more for the rest of my pistols!
Thanks Taran Tactical Innovations for the awesome magazine extension for my EDC .40 Shield!! Excellent quality, super easy to install (only took about 2 min to install), customer service was outstanding (answered a couple of email questions w/i 24 hrs), and the anodized black looks great, but WHEN I order more I will go with one of the other color options! My one concern was that the extended grip would be obvious when concealed since I appendix carry but it didn’t make a difference...
