This Taran Tactical Innovations M&P Shield base pad works on any full sized M&P Shield 9mm and 40 S&W handguns. This TTI base pad does add a little extra weight to the magazine which helps the empty mag drop free easier for faster reloads. This TTI M&P base pad, just like all of our base pads, is designed to give you the edge over your adversaries. The base pad is machined out of aircraft aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

Have been looking for mag extensions for my EDC that would give me that extra round or two. Saw the TTI base pads and purchased 2. Great selection of colors, easy to install, enhanced the grip (longer) and added 2 additional rounds (8 to10). I am very impressed with TTI's products and customer service. I just test fired 150 rounds in my M&P Shield 9mm Custom Shop with the Tarran 2 round extension. Absolutely flawless! My Shield now holds 10 in the mag and 1 in the chamber. Awesome!!!
