The Glock Store Tungsten Guide Rod replaces the factory plastic guide rod as a drop in part with no gunsmithing required. This guide rod weighs 400% more than the factory part and the added weight helps reduce recoil and muzzle flip. Unlike the OEM plastic part, this tungsten guide rod will not break or bend during normal firearm operation.

Cheapest, most impactful and easiest to install upgrade available. The added weight on the front is great and makes your glock feel way better in your hands. Went with a 15lb spring.
The added weight is great to counter balance a metal guide rod. Also adds a premium feel to the magazine, once you throw one on you’ll never run a normal magazine again.
