Great balance
I thought this would be a gimmick. It actually does add the proper amount of weight and provides great balance to the pistol.
The Glock Store Tungsten Guide Rod replaces the factory plastic guide rod as a drop in part with no gunsmithing required. This guide rod weighs 400% more than the factory part and the added weight helps reduce recoil and muzzle flip. Unlike the OEM plastic part, this tungsten guide rod will not break or bend during normal firearm operation.

I purchased this after destroying two tungsten rods offered by another manufacturer/vendor. I would caution anyone using the super long extended tungsten recoil spring rods with uncaptured springs to check their rods for unusual wear. My extended rods on my Gen 3 G34 both began to have worn distortion areas where they were whipping up and wearing against the frame on my G34.
Went with my compensator perfectly.
