I installed this on a 5" m&p 2.0 that I'm modifying for competition use. The fit is prefect. It's well designed and very sturdy. It was easy to install and it works very well. If you're looking for a high quality magwell that is built to take some abuse, this is a good choice.
This Magwell functions just as well as it looks. Mags go in super easy, it adds a little more comfort to the grip, and it’s just enough to not look like it’s too much. It’s very well made and solid. The color compliments the pistol. Only downside is that the stock base magazine’s will not fit with this Magwell. However, this Magwell makes the Taran Mag Extension look and function even better. I did have a small issue with the fitting at first. The customer service I received was over the top. Fast responses and took care of me immediately.
The magwell for the M&P 2.0 is hands down fantastic. I love that it is metal and not plastic. The look and feel of it is GREAT! The magwell compliments my Taran Tactical +6 mag extension VERY nicely. The ONLY issue I had is that it does not allow me to use my stock M&P magazines, the baseplate does not fit the magwell. So in order to fix that problem I ordered 4 more +4 Mag extensions from Taran. (Which... is that really a bad thing? Haha). So just be aware, you are probably going to need the TTI extensions with this magwell. Other then that. I have zero issues.
