If you're putting this on an M4 you'll want a pair of snap ring pliers, that shouldn't be a surprise though. It's a great improvement over the stock carrier.
**Our Extended Carrier is specifically designed for 12 gauge M1/M2/M3/M4 Benelli Shotguns. Anything else will not be compatible without welding.**

I added this to my M2 on the recommendation of a friend who told me it made tube loading easier. I was a bit skeptical at first but after installing it I can't believe I waited this long to do it. Smooth reloading, no more getting my thumb caught in the silly cut out on the factory carrier.
I have a customized shotgun that I began to have FTF issues. My original gunsmith went out of business, so I sent to another smith. The did a number of things to improve the function and got it back to 90-95% functioning. I decided to swap the lifter out thinking that maybe it got tweaked on a dump barrel. Since Changing the gun has run 100% - very happy
