The TTI Ultimate Charging Handle is designed by Taran Butler to be the perfect size and feel, with its unique knurling and serrations, to function during high-speed Tactical operations and 3-Gun competitions.
It is machined from billet stainless steel and coated with Ion Bond (95 Rockwell) in their new Gunmetal Gray finish.
It is virtually indestructible.
The product weighs 1oz, and is designed to work with 12 gauge shotguns.

Fit and finish is outstanding and really like the way it feels
I can't say enough about how much I love the charging handle design. It's not overlarge like competing charging handles, but gives a significantly better gripping surface than the original M4 charging handle. I would absolutely use this for sport or competition shooting. However, after putting it through the paces, I have to say I do not at all feel comfortable with it in a tactical environment. A slight bump on the handle in a sling or bag or against a doorframe causes the charging handle to overinsert, which if not corrected or noticed, will cause it contact the receiver violently upon use, resulting in damage. I also wish it did not spin freely and included the three detents on the OEM charging handle. Basically, if I could design my ultimate charging handle, it'd be this one, but with the triple detents and overtravel stop of the OEM charging handle. In fact, I'd happily pay extra for a "tactical" version like this. Still a fantastic design for competition use though.
