Sonic Cleaner Warning
First the bad. After 10 minutes in the sonic cleaner the finish in the slide and frame were a disaster they turned bright blue which is super weird. The sonic cleaner and gun solution I use has never had a problem from cheapie Glock or shield to Staccato or Nighthawk. But this one of my most expensive pistols went blue or finish stripped in one cleaning using the plastic basket and premium gun cleaner. 2nd the safeties and small parts were sticky out of the box but broke in easy. Now the good. Among my 9, 2011 comps this is the only one that performs better than my very tuned staccato xc. The grip is super similar to the staccato and it does not come with a low profile mag well like Nighthawk 2011's the trigger is somehow slightly better than the xc and the holosun comp is an amazing shooting experience. How it handles recoil is almost shocking compared to others. Compared to the Nighthawk sand hawk and many others that are slightly over priced in comparison to the Staccato this is worth the price. That being said this viper is awesome. Just make sure you get it refinished with a tougher finish if you like sonic cleaners or plan on running it hard out of kydex.
