Crisp break and short reset. Consistent 3.25 trigger weight. By far the best Glock trigger set up I have used.
I purchased 2 of these kits at one time and installed them on a modified G19 and a almost stock G17, both have polished trigger assemblies. The G19 has a apex flat faced trigger,plunger safety and a 3.5lb ghost disconnect, the geometry of the apex kit gave the trigger pull a very crisp break that felt a little stiff at first. After installing the Taran spring kit the trigger break still has the crispness of a solid wall after the pre-travel is taken up. The trigger pull is much lighter and smother, as remarked by all the glock guys in my group! The other kit went on my loaned out G17, the trigger polish gym I did helped but you can only do so much with a factory glock trigger! Again the trigger pull weight was noticeably reduced along with a "smoothing out" of the trigger break. Both guns felt as if the trigger reset was a little less "positive" in feel and sound but by just a little. This is by no means a negative for me as I'm sure it will become normal with training. To be honest I was a little surprised at the reliability of the kit, I took all my factory parts to the range with me just in case I started misfiring or having other malfunctions. I only had one round not fire but when I looked at it off the line I noticed that it was a round I had picked up off the loading bench thinking someone dropped it, so I'm not going to blame this kit at all for this, it was just me being cheap! All together I am very pleased with my purchase and will be recommending this kit as a very affordable upgrade to a stock Glock!
