* The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw*
*Not for sale to California and Washington residents. A courtesy email will be sent to CA/WA residents who place an order for a base pad that has the capability of taking a magazine past ten rounds. Ultimately a refund will be issued unless the purchaser is active Law Enforcement. CA/WA civilians can only purchase base pads listed on the following link - https://tarantacticalinnovations.com/magazine-extensions/california-compliant/
This Taran Tactical base pad is extremely versatile as it is designed to work on multiple types of magazines. We are currently discovering the full list of magazines that this base pad will be compatible with, as for now we can confirm that the following are compatible - Mec-Gar Beretta M9/92FS 18rd 9mm magazines, Sig Sauer's NEW P365-XMACRO 17 round 9mm magazine & Sig Sauer P226 15 round 9mm magazine, Walther PDP 18rd 9mm magazine, Canik TP-9 & Rival 18rd 9mm magazines. The beveled edge on this base pad is designed to clear most shapes and sizes of magwells. With this simple upgrade to your magazine, you can add anywhere from three to five rounds to your total carrying capacity depending on your configuration. The added weight from this base pad will also help the magazine eject faster and easier during reloads.

Awesome #1, as always. I use the TTI extra power springs with these extensions. I carry 2 edc and 3 on vest. I travel and teach, so I prefer the Specter Comp with a Shield RMS. It is equally at home in the pocket of my 5.11's or in a Dara security holster. I use the extra power springs, which allows a total of 19 rounds in the extended Macro magazine. Ive had my first batch of three for about a year now. They've been kept loaded, except when used in training. All have chugged away with my chosen defense loading and anything else I've trained with. No spring set experienced at all. Not a surprise. Taran makes great stuff. 2, in an HSGI carrier, are always in my support side pocket. Thanks, guys!
I recently got a Walther PDP Match (poly frame) with a factory magwell. The TTI Versatile Base Pad brings the stock 18 rd magazine to 21 rounds & the modified mags consistently seat, no interference with the magwell, & the mag feeds perfectly. I’ve purchased TTI base pads for several platforms in the past & have always had good luck & this purchase is no exception.
