The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations PPQ base pad works on any full sized PPQ magazine. This TTI base pad will add 5 extra rounds to the magazine. This TTI base pad does add a little extra weight to the magazine which helps the empty mag drop free easier for faster reloads. This TTI PPQ base pad, just like all of our base pads, is designed to give you the edge over your adversaries. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning your magazines between stages. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock the base pad onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

Fit, form, and function are amazing. I have tried three different brands and these work great! I run Taran tactical base pads on my Walther PPQ, AR15's, and my Springfield XDM and they work great! These are the only Base Pad Kits to buy!

  • Best baseplates hands up

Recieved the new ones for my G19, one for an AR10, and one for my PPQ. They all work flawlessly. I noticed the other reviewers stating there is a gap in the PPQ ones between the baseplate and the grip. Well, i dont know about you guys but my OEM Mec-gar mags have the same gap. Perhaps Walther should have made the grips a tiny bit longer to accomodate the 15 round OEM Mec-Gar mags for a flush fit. Id venture to guess the gap intentionally exists in case one has to manually remove the mag. In any event, TTI base plates are perfection. Wish they made them for my Berettas.

  • Beautifully made Piece!

Really nice fit, finish and function on the base pad kit, good workmanship! Works like it should, I should have gotten more! I bought this for a Walther PPQ M2 and as you may know there isn't much competition. Of course, what I would really like to see it a 20-30 round option.
