The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.
*Both extensions will be compatible with Glock 45 9mm firearms as well as Glock 19X firearms. Product has only been tested out with Glock OEM magazines*

These +5 bases are a industry standard often copied but never duplicated. I started buying these when I bought 2 for my Gucci Glock 17. However, I have since bought them for my 3gun Glock and a EDC G23. Best performance, fit, finish, and come with new mag springs!
The aran Tactical (TT) Magazine Extension are high quality items. Need a thin Screwdriver OR Long Handled Allen Wrench to remove/reinsert mag bullet rest on TT provided new springs. Use the same screw driver / allen wrench to put the spring tip back in the bullet rest hole. These springs are new, resilient, and hard to compress. It is a bit tricky to put the mag spring under tension to allow mag extension to slide on. Found using my thumb to press down while simultaneously pushing mag extension on was the fastest method. Got easier by the third mag. Haven't gone to the range yet, but did fully load the mag and very satisfied with the results. **** As for ANY M2.0 Generation M&P fit, there is a slight problem. The provided Backstrap Locking Tool which fits in the Mag well base; binds or pushes out the TT Mag Extension out so it does not fit snugly. This can lead to slides not locking when last bullet fired or mag not dropping out neatly when mag release button is pushed. After watching Charles Kiecker's "Taran Tactical M&P 2.0 Base Pad Problem" YouTube video, he describes the problem and remedy. He simply removed some of the M&P Tool face directly in contact with the Mag Extension until it fully seated. You can use a Dremel, an Execto Knife or Wood Carving Tool to remove the excess material as long as the device used is sharp and under full user control!! An alternative solution is to install a Floyd Custom Shop Base on the pistol grip. This base fully seats TT Mag Extensions as the base uses a different method to lock in the base and Backstrap on the pistol.
