Worked well, BUT...
I used this spring with the 9/40 +3/+4 base plate. Works great. Its a big spring so I can only get +3 with 9mm. Good enough.

Purchased with the TT 5/6 round base pad. Simple and easy to install in a Glock 17 magazine. If you are nervous doing this for the first time there are many YouTube videos available. Remember that the spring is under tension when attaching the base pad so go slow, be patient and keep the spring pointed in a safe direction. Taran Tactical parts are quality parts!
