Easy to change out. Makes the M2 work with low recoil slugs and buckshot. Slugs were 1200 FPS and buck was 1145 FPS.
I purchased this for my Benelli M2 Tactical. I was having problems with lower power shells cycling. That isn't Benelli's fault, it's in the specs and they tell you that in the manual, However I wanted to be able to use 2 3/4 shells without worrying about weight and velocity. This shotgun is for home defense purposes so realistically any 2 3/4 inch shell will fit my intended purpose. Went to the range today and ammo that previously hung up worked just fine. I went through a few rounds to get everything loosened up and after that I went through 20 rounds with no problems at all. I also used some ammo meeting Benelli's specs and everything worked great. Trigger pull and recoil were fine. This installed easily and worked right away.
