    Flawless Lightweight Buffer Spring

Posted by Heath Allen on Jun 7th 2022

My rifle was significantly under gassed. Not wanting to open the gas port by drilling the barrel, I ordered and installed this spring. Range time proved this solved the issue, and I was able to successfully fire over 300 rounds flawlessly.

    TTI Ultimate Light-Speed Buffer Spring

Fixed my under gassed/short stroking carbine like a charm. Much easier and safer option than reaming gas port and installing adjustable gas block. Gun ejects and locks back after last round perfectly now.

    Easy and good upgrade

My AR had a really stiff spring making it harder to pull the charge handle back. But with this it makes it super easy and smooth to chamber the first round. Would recommend for the great price

    Short Stroke Problem Solved!

Posted by Unknown on May 13th 2021

Recently built an 18" Special Purpose Rifle (SPR) with Mid Length Gas System. I tried shooting with 55gr weak ammo such as PMC and others. The regular carbine buffer spring was just too stiffed for weak ammo to load the next round. I bought this spring from TTI and boom problem solved. The gun runs now with weak ammo. No more malfunctions. I ran all kinds of ammo 55gr all the way to 77gr. No problems. It was either this spring or $200 lightweight BCG. Less than $20 for this spring was a no brainer. This is a must have spring of you're running into short stroke issues. Recoil reduction and smooth soft when charging the charging handle! Great product!

Instantly noticed a difference in recoil. This product is much lighter and it cycles well.

    Great recoil reduction

Posted by KK on Jan 20th 2020

We have bought 2 of the light speed buffer spring. Installed them in 2 carbine length 556 rifles. A very noticable recoil reduction and barrel rise. Did not effect ammo cycling.

It works great for my mid length SBR build that was having short stroking issues with light loaded practice ammo.

    Fixed my AR

Posted by Stephen on Feb 2nd 2017

My AR was short-stroking because the factory spring was too heavy. The weapon would eject the spent case, but the BCG would not go back far enough to pick up the next round. It wasn't because of a gas issues or any other issue I could find. So I bought this spring, popped it in, and the weapon has been properly cycling after every shot. I've only put a few hundred rounds through my AR since I change the spring out, but I haven't had a single cycling issue!
