The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.

This Taran Tactical Innovations PPQ base pad works on any full sized PPQ magazine. This TTI base pad will add 5 extra rounds to the magazine. This TTI base pad does add a little extra weight to the magazine which helps the empty mag drop free easier for faster reloads. This TTI PPQ base pad, just like all of our base pads, is designed to give you the edge over your adversaries. We use our patented push pin design to lock the base pad to the magazine, which makes for easy field stripping and cleaning your magazines between stages. Just push down the pin, slide the base pad on and push the pin up to lock the base pad onto the magazine. Our one piece design is great because there are no extra parts or tools needed to attach the base pad to your magazine. The base pad itself is machined out of billet aluminum and is hard anodized to ensure durable long lasting color. All machining and manufacturing is done in the USA.

  • Great build, blue a little off

I just received these and the quality looks great. Haven't assembled yet. One con is the blue is a couple shades lighter than the darker blue on the walther ppq q5 trigger. It's not a terrible mismatch, but I think I would have rather gone black after seeing it.

Just got and installed the +5 base pads for two of my Walther PPQ Q5 . The y look great with the blue trigger and work even better than the look. Also makes mag changes easier with not slamming the base of your hand between the mag and the mag well.

  • Great...But....

First of all let me say I purchased some magazine base plates in the past and they all worked great. Same with this recent order. The only problem was the blue titanium base plate in the photo it looks blue with a metallic shine. On looking at it in person, the blue is not as bright as in the photo and also looks purple in a certain light. (kinda like the car tint that looks black but in a certain light it has a purple shine) Looks ok on my ppt match.... but not Great. Would of gone with the regular blue if I knew it was this shade.
