Purchasing a firearm online is easier than most people expect! When you place an order through our site, your firearm ships to a licensed FFL (Federal Firearms Licensee) of your choice. Then they’ll handle the background check and required paperwork before releasing the firearm to you.
How It Works
Step 1: Choose Your Firearm
Browse our collection of high-performance firearms and add the one you want to your cart. Be sure to review the product details and verify the model before checking out.
Step 2: Select an FFL at Checkout
During checkout, you’ll be prompted to choose an FFL to handle the transfer. You can use our built-in FFL locator to find a dealer near you.
Step 3: Don’t See Your Dealer? No Problem.
If your preferred dealer isn’t listed, you can skip the FFL selection and manually enter their contact details. Once your order is submitted, our team will reach out directly to verify the dealer’s license before processing your shipment.
If we’re unable to verify the FFL or receive the necessary information within 5 business days, your order may be canceled and subject to a restocking fee.
Shipping & Tracking
Once your order and FFL details are verified, we’ll process and ship your firearm using UPS.

Tracking information will be sent to the email address associated with your order as soon as the shipment goes out. Firearms may ship separately from other items depending on availability or fulfillment logistics.
Please note: Shipping method is determined by the type of firearm and cannot be changed or upgraded during checkout.
Picking Up Your Firearm
Once your firearm arrives at your selected FFL, they’ll receive and log the shipment, then contact you when it’s ready for pickup. Every FFL operates a little differently, so we strongly recommend reaching out to your dealer directly to understand their specific transfer process, hours of operation, and required documentation.
Heads-up: Most FFLs charge a transfer fee for handling and processing the background check. This fee is paid directly to the dealer at the time of pickup and is not included in your purchase from us.
Final Notes on Firearm Orders
At Taran Tactical Innovations, every firearm we sell is our own product, built and shipped with a commitment to performance and precision. All firearm sales are final and non-refundable, and we do not accept returns or exchanges on any firearm for any reason, including buyer’s remorse or failed background checks.
We invest time and resources into each order the moment it’s placed. Because of this, order cancellations are subject to processing fees:

10% cancellation fee for orders canceled before processing begins

18% restocking fee for cancellations after the order has entered processing
If you need to cancel an order, your request must be emailed to customerservice@tarantactical.com. Requests are reviewed and processed Monday through Friday during business hours (excluding holidays). Cancellation is not guaranteed until you receive written confirmation.
State Compliance
Taran Tactical Innovations follows all federal and state laws regarding firearm shipments. That said, it is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure any firearm purchased is legal in their state or local jurisdiction.
We do not ship firearms that are known to be restricted where prohibited by law. If you’re unsure about your state’s requirements—such as magazine capacity limits, feature restrictions, or handgun rosters—we recommend confirming legality with your selected FFL before placing your order.
If your receiving dealer requires modifications, additional documentation, or special handling for compliance, please reach out to us in advance so we can review any necessary steps prior to shipment.
